Mass Revolution 2062/63
Mass revolution that took place in 2062/63 refers to the movement of all the people against Monarchy. The revolution had the participation of Seven political parties including Maoists. It ended up on the eleventh Baisakh 2063 continuing for 19 days.
The revolution didn’t occur only in a part of the nation but throughout the nation. All the ethinic groups minors, underprivileged community and others had involved in the important movement. The King Gyanendra was the ruler against whom the movement occurred since he didn’t use to practice the pure form of democracy. The King sent the armed force also to fail the attempt. They also leave no stone unturned to suppress the voice raised by the political parties.
